Clay modelling gives children the freedom to explore ideas without rules or limits. Kids can pinch, roll, press and sculpt clay into animals, figures, or abstract creations.

Creative Artistry Saturday clay workshops, gives kids an opportunity to experience clay a tactile material, allowing kids to engage their senses and explore different shapes and textures and encourages fine motor skills, hand eye coordination and problem solving whilst having fun
Using Patterns, Shapes, texture and form, they will be actively encouraged to develop their own creative and explore their imaginative ideas.
New skills and abilities will be learnt and manual dexterity will be improved whilst having fun.
Easy to mould, shape, sculpt and carve. It can be finished with a range of textures, once fully cured pieces can be painted or stained.
Furthermore finished pieces can be placed outdoors without the fear of damage caused by extreme weather conditions.
Techniques such as slab building, pinching, coiling, press moulding, surface texturing and carving colouring and curing are covered.
The basic materials; clay rakes, slicks and radius sweeps, will be provided.
